Pagani Huayra Codalunga $7.4 million

Codalunga is Italian for Long Tail. The boutique manufacturer from Modena is serious about that. Not a few centimeters is added like with a McLaren (a 765LT is only 5.5 centimeters longer than the 720S). No, the Codalunga is a whopping 34 whole centimeters longer compared to the regular coupe version of the Pagani Huayra.

Le Mans racers

In terms of styling, the car's design is strikingly simple. The inspiration for the Codalunga are the 1960s Le Mans racers. You know, from the period when they were the most awesome in terms of design. Also, the bodywork is smoother than before. It's quite a culture shock, after Pagani has built strikingly busy-designed devices each time.

The engine is also familiar: the M158 from Mercedes-Benz. That's the M275 we know from other '65 AMG' models, but with smaller turbos and dry-sump lubrication. In this case, the engine is good for 850 hp and 1.100 Nm. Which will have no problem propelling the Pagani Huayra Codalunga forward. After all, the car weighs only 1,280 kilograms and there is no mention of performance, but count on it being fast enough.

Price Pagani Huayra Codalunga

Needless to say, the Pagani Huayra Codalunga is and will remain a very rare car. Horacio and his associates are only going to build 5 of them at a price starting at $7.4 million. Should you be interested; there is bad news for you. All 5 examples are already sold out.
