show what you are looking for.
think of abbreviations
If you enter ASME, you will get a lot of results, because the word appears in all articles whose
content relates to ASME.
If you just want to know what ASME is or means,
type the search term followed by ONE
DOT
ASME.
and your search will find what you are looking for.
Other example: even the terms LR - Long Radius, SR - Short Radius, etc. for Elbows
are considered more accurate when a dot is placed after the abbreviation.
