Following the success of the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, Bugatti did not have to wait long for the first requests for an open-top version of the Grand Sport with a power output of 882 kW (1,200 hp); the fastest roadster ever.
The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse features an impressive maximum torque of 1,500 Nm (at 3,000-5,000 rpm) from the 7.9-liter W16 engine. Maximum power (1,200 hp) is reached at 6,400 rpm. These figures enable the car to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in an incredible 2.6 seconds. The top speed of 410 km/h makes the all-wheel-drive Grand Sport Vitesse (like all Veyrons) the fastest production roadster ever.
