The Lamborghini Veneno is a high-performance, limited-edition sports car produced by the Italian automaker Lamborghini. Based on the Aventador, the Veneno was developed in honor of Lamborghini's 50th anniversary. The car was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013. At its introduction, the Veneno had a price tag of 4 million dollars, making it one of the most expensive production cars in the world.
The design of the Veneno deviates significantly from the styling of earlier Lamborghini models. The design is inspired by sports prototypes and race cars. The Y-shaped design elements are derived from the design language of the Aventador, while the rear wheel arches reference the Countach. The ventilated hood improves engine cooling, while the extreme aerodynamic elements emphasize the car's track-oriented characteristics. The car has a top speed of 356 km/h and an acceleration time of 0-97 km/h in 2.8 seconds.
