The 2026 FIFA World Cup is about to kick off!
The loyalty shown by diehard fans for their national teams is undeniably unmatched when the most prestigious
global soccer tournament comes to town, but the support shown by the wives and girlfriends (WAGs) of
the players just may rival it.
This year, the World Cup will commence on June 11 and feature 48 different national teams from across
the globe. The tournament will take place in North America, with games being played across three host
countries: the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Viewers should keep their eyes open for Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, when the Argentinian
soccer legend takes the pitch to defend his team's World Cup title in what will mark his record-breaking
sixth appearance at FIFA's quadrennial soccer tournament this summer.
