The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the final and most advanced development phase of the 911 for public roads, before the transition was made to true racing cars for track racing. With even more power, lower weight, shorter gear ratios, and body and suspension components of an even higher standard, the 911 GT3 RS was developed as a homologation model for the racing version of the 911 GT3 and therefore has everything needed for continued success on the track.
The car thus continues the series of uncompromising sporty variants of the 911 that are homologated for public roads and, with its purist character, appeals particularly to the driver with motorsport ambitions, as the specifications clearly demonstrate: a 3.8 liter six-cylinder boxer engine with 450 hp (331 kW); a six-speed manual transmission; acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds; a top speed of 310 km/h. Curb weight 1,370 kg (3,021 lb); fuel consumption in the NEDC driving cycle 13.2 ltr/100 km (equivalent to 21.4 mpg).
