ASTM 193 Grade B7 & B16 Stud Bolts
used with Spiral Wound Gaskets
The initial thickness of the spiral wound gasket is about 4.5 mm and is compressed to about 3.2 mm.

- Torque Values are approved for Spiral Wound Graphite Gaskets
- Bolting torque to develop 50% Bolt Yield Stress at Nut Factor, K=0.16
- Listed values apply to Never-Seize paste and Fel-Pro lubricant, K=0.16
- Listed values apply only to ASTM A193 Grade B7 and A193 Grade B16 Stud Bolts
- The Final Torque Value accounts for 10% bolt relaxation
- Listed values do not apply to stud bolts and nuts with PTFE or other coatings
