When should you choose seamless or welded pipes?

When selecting steel pipes, a common question is whether to use seamless or welded pipes. The right choice is essential for the stability, durability, and cost-effectiveness of the pipeline.

Seamless Pipe.. A seamless pipe is manufactured without a weld seam. It is formed by extruding or piercing a solid piece of steel, which is then elongated and cut to size into a tubular shape.
Welded pipe.. A welded pipe is produced by rolling a flat steel plate or strip into a cylindrical shape and then welding the seam, either lengthwise or crosswise.
