What are the differences between ASME B16.47 A and B flanges?

ASME B16.47 is a standard for large diameter steel pipe flanges, from NPS 26 through NPS 60, and pressure classes 150 through 900. The flanges can be subdivided into welding neck and blind flanges, and two Series are available for both.
